Hello world. Not much has happened in my life recently. That's why I haven't written much. I've been busy with studying for school, going to classes and clinicals, and otherwise passing time mostly with my roommates. I can't say it's been exciting but it's been my life. I found out that the scholarship I got for this semester actually pays me now extra money--they took it out of my total financial aid. That leaves me on the wrong side of BROKE. This limits what I can do. Anyway, that should all change soon. I'll be in the field working for pretty decent pay soon.
The bros came to town last weekend. It's hard to believe that my brother Mike had never once been to
School is rolling along. It's hard to believe how soon we'll be done. It's really only 4 months now. Then I'll take a week or two off to study for the NCLEX and hopefully pass and be working again. No more slacker student stuff. I try to appreciate not working and all but I can't say it's fun being so damn broke. I want to work and meet more women and see what happens with that and enjoy doing a job that means something. I feel like I will be a decent nurse at least.
Nothing at all is happening on the female front. I haven't talked to Judy for about 3 weeks now--she's dating a guy whose sister (a lesbian) I know. Julie is still engaged. We went to lunch the other day with her fiancé and some other people. I know we aren't ever going to go out again; whether she goes through with marrying this guy she says she's not even attracted to or not, it would make no sense to date her again. It is interesting that she's done most of the things I said she should since we "broke up", if that's what you'd even call it.
I’ve been keeping in decent physical shape. There’s not doubt that the threat of growing old alone and without any kids to call my own is a motivating factor. I’d like to think that I’ve been doing this workout routine for so long that it would be really hard to stop. After all, I am not young anymore, and I want to be able to play with my kids.
I hope that sometime in the next year I have more to say about my sorry ass “love life”. Maybe that’s inevitable or maybe not. Either way my future still has a lot to be written to it. I just hope I’m not too old to write it when it happens.
